Info: Retired with 30 years in the public schools of NC in June of 2001. One daughter, Cathey Collins (mother of 3 wonderful grandchildren) teaches school in Laurel Hill, NC where she draws much inspiration from memories of Lib Wright's 4th grade class at Fairview Heights. While I was only at HHS for the last 3 years, I have very fond memories of the friends made  there during that short time. There are a quite a few Hamlet and Rockingham folks who have retired here in North Myrtle Beach, so that helps me stay connected somewhat. Others come down often and it's always so good to see them. I enjoy playing bridge and other card games, painting,  reading, various church related activities, travel, and the beach late in the afternoon. There is a good possibility that I spend too much time sitting in front of a computer, but nothing compares to time spent with grandchildren!                         8/08
